Flutes Across The World is Off to Honduras in January!

Our next music mission is to Honduras and is leaving on January 26th through February 5th.  John Zeretzke of Flutes Across The World will be hosted by Tegucigalpa Rotary International and Westlake Village Rotary Sunrise.  After visiting villages, orphanages and hospitals in and around Tegucigalpa, ethnomusicologist Simeon Pillich will join the team to travel to the far northern coast of Honduras to meet with the Garifunas, the Creoles of the north,  who still preserve their music and dance traditions that have roots in African culture.

 Our next music mission is being planned for Haiti with Joan and Ray Conn of the Restavek Freedom Organization who will be helping to host Flutes Across The World 

in April or May of 2012.
